Paulandi is a comfortable self-catering Bushveld holiday home sleeping four people and is located in a nature reserve surrounded by the Waterberge. The reserve is home to more than 50 species of mammals, 170 species of birds, and 114 tree species. Wildlife walks the streets and graze between the houses, because over the years a special bond has been forged between man and animal.

There are lots of walking paths in the nature reserve winding through a wide variety of native trees. Visitors have free access to the 823 ha nature reserve from 07:00 – 18:00 where they can walk, jog, cycle or drive.

The lush woodland vegetation provides enough grazing for a variety of wildlife such as Giraffes, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Kudus, Impalas, Nyala, Warthogs and Zebras. It is also a paradise for bird lovers.

Leeupoort has a moderate climate throughout the year. It is hot in the summer with high rainfall from September to April, and is known for thunderstorms in the afternoons. During the dry winter months, the climate remains moderate, although temperatures can drop significantly at night.
